Step-by-step instructions for configuring your custom domain

Before You Begin

Make sure you have access to your domain registrar's DNS settings. Changes may take 24-48 hours to fully propagate.

To point your custom domain to your Nova site, you'll need to add DNS records at your domain registrar or DNS provider. This guide covers the most common providers and record types.

You will need:

  • Access to your domain registrar (GoDaddy, Namecheap, Google Domains, etc.)
  • Your Nova site's load balancer IP address
  • Ability to add/modify DNS records
Important: DNS changes can take 24-48 hours to fully propagate worldwide. During this time, your site may be intermittently accessible.
